Why your card isn't shared with providers
Your personal payment card and details never get shared with Netflix, Spotify, Disney+, or any other provider in your bundle. Here's how that works and why it matters.
How it works
When you pay your Bundled membership, you charge one payment to your personal card or bank account.
Behind the scenes, Bundled uses its own securely controlled payment cards to pay each provider in your bundle. We provision unique cards per service, in Bundled's name, and use those to handle each provider's billing.
Your card never touches Netflix. Or Spotify. Or anywhere else.
Why this matters
Privacy
Subscription providers don't get your real billing information. They see Bundled, not you. Your card number, address, name on card, and personal details stay with us — not with every service you use.
Card-pause mechanics
Because we control the cards, we can:
- Pause a card when a trial ends so the provider literally can't auto-charge you (this is how Risk-Free Trials work)
- Stop paying for a service the moment you cancel or stop using it (this is how no-click cancellations work)
- Coordinate billing timing across all your services so you get one predictable charge
If your real card was on file with each provider, none of these features would work — each provider would just keep charging your card until you canceled them individually.
Fraud and breach protection
If a provider gets breached (it happens — Disney, Twitch, and others have had incidents), the leaked card data belongs to Bundled, not you. We absorb that risk and rotate cards behind the scenes when needed. You're never personally affected.
Less for you to manage
When a card you used at 8 different services expires, you'd normally need to update it 8 places. With Bundled, you update it once — with us. The provider cards keep going automatically.
When this might come up
A provider may occasionally ask you to "confirm payment information" on file. Don't enter your personal card.
Two ways to handle it:
- Check your Bundled dashboard — the Bundled card's billing zip and last 4 digits are visible there if a provider asks for verification
- Email [email protected] — we'll handle the verification flow with the provider directly
What if I want to use a specific card for a specific service?
You can't selectively assign cards to specific services through Bundled — that defeats the purpose of card isolation. The one card you use for your Bundled membership pays for everything in your bundle.
If you want fully separate billing for a specific service, you can take it off your bundle and pay the provider directly (using your own card). Email support to set that up.
