Taxes and what's included in your price
Whether your Bundled bill includes taxes depends on where you live. Here's how it works.
When we collect taxes
Where required by state or local law, Bundled collects:
- Sales tax
- Communications tax
- Digital goods tax
- Streaming tax
- Similar transaction taxes
These are added to your bill on top of the bundle price and itemized on your charge.
Why my friend in another state pays differently
Tax rates and what's taxable vary widely by state. A streaming subscription is taxed in some states (like Texas, Washington, and Pennsylvania) but not others (like Oregon and Delaware). The same is true for music, audiobooks, and other categories.
Your charge reflects your state, county, and city tax rules — not someone else's.
Tax changes
Bundled may begin or stop collecting taxes in any state at any time as laws change. We don't notify you for tax-only changes (these are required by law, not Bundled's choice), but you'll always see the tax line itemized on your charge.
Receipts for expense reports
Your monthly receipt shows:
- Bundle base price
- Add-ons (if any)
- Itemized taxes
- Total charge
Download receipts and invoices from your Bundled dashboard → Billing.
Tax forms
We don't issue 1099 forms — Bundled is a consumer service, not a payment processor or income source. If you need year-end totals for personal recordkeeping, your dashboard shows your total spend by year.
I'm not in the US
Bundled is currently US-only. If you've moved or are using a VPN, your bundle may not work correctly. Email [email protected] if you have a question about international access.
