I'm not receiving verification codes from a service
When a provider sends a verification code, it goes to the email or phone on file for your account. With Bundled-managed accounts, those go to a Bundled-issued alias that we forward to you. Here's how to fix it when codes aren't arriving.
The fast fix
In order, try these:
- Wait 60 seconds. There can be a short delay between the provider sending the code and us forwarding it.
- Check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes forwarded emails get filtered.
- Request a new code from the provider — the first one may have expired while we were forwarding.
- Email [email protected] if the code still doesn't arrive within a few minutes. We'll pull the code from our alias and send it to you directly.
Add [email protected] to your contacts
This is where verification codes get forwarded from. Adding it to your contacts (or marking past emails as "not spam") prevents future codes from landing in spam.
For most email providers:
- Gmail: Open an email from [email protected] → click the three-dot menu → Add to contacts
- Apple Mail: Tap the sender's name → Create new contact
- Outlook: Right-click sender → Add to Outlook contacts
For SMS codes
If a provider sends verification codes by SMS, the code goes to the phone number on file for the account. By default, this is the phone number you registered with Bundled.
If you've changed phone numbers, update yours in:
- Bundled dashboard → Account → Phone
Then the provider may need to re-verify your number — contact support if it gets stuck.
Don't update your email or phone with the provider
If a service in your bundle prompts you to "update your email" or "change your phone number," don't do it on the provider's site. Doing so disconnects our forwarding and breaks future verification code delivery.
If you want to update contact information for a service, email [email protected] and we'll handle it correctly.
What if the provider only sends codes to the original email?
Some services don't support code forwarding (the provider sends to a "verified" email only). For these:
- We monitor the inbox where the code lands
- We forward it to your personal email within minutes
- If you need a faster response, support can pull the code in near real-time
Common scenarios
"I'm logging in from a new TV and need a code"
- Try the steps above
- If urgent, support can pull the code from our alias and send it in real time
"I changed devices and didn't get a code"
- Same as above
"The code I got is expired"
- Forward delays plus provider expiration windows can cause this
- Request a fresh code and complete the login within 60 seconds of receiving it
"I never set up email or phone for this account"
- Bundled-managed accounts have an alias on file by default
- Contact support if you want to know what's on file
