A provider says my account doesn't exist
This is one of the most common login errors after signing up for Bundled. Usually it's not actually a missing account — here's what's going on.
The typical cause: still activating
When you sign up for Bundled, your accounts at each provider take a little time to provision. Most services activate within minutes to a few hours, but some can take up to 24 hours for the first round of identity and account verification.
If you're trying to log in within the first 24 hours of signup and getting "account doesn't exist," it's most likely that the account isn't fully created yet.
What to do: Check your Bundled dashboard. Each service has a status indicator:
- Active → account is ready
- Activating → still being set up; wait a bit longer
- Issue → contact support
The second most common cause: typo in username
The exact username matters. Double-check that you're entering:
- The Bundled-issued username from your activation email (not your personal email)
- The exact format, including any periods, underscores, or numbers
- The same email/username for every service in your bundle (they all use the same one)
Copy-paste from your activation email to eliminate typos.
The third cause: confused with an old direct account
If you previously had a direct subscription with this provider:
- Make sure you're not entering the credentials for your old account
- Log out of the old account on every device
- Use the Bundled-issued credentials for the new account
When the account really doesn't exist
If your dashboard shows the service as Active and you're using the correct credentials but the provider still says the account doesn't exist, something has gone wrong on our side. This is rare, but it happens — usually because the provider deleted or merged the account due to a duplicate detection error.
What to do: Email [email protected] with:
- The service name
- Your Bundled-issued username (the one that's being rejected)
- A screenshot of the error message
- The date you signed up for Bundled
We'll investigate and either restore the account or create a new one (and migrate any data we can).
Don't sign up directly with the provider
Resist the temptation to just sign up at netflix.com or spotify.com to "fix it" yourself. Doing so:
- Creates a duplicate account that breaks our billing automation
- May trigger provider account flagging that delays the fix
- Doesn't actually solve the underlying issue
Always contact Bundled support first.
