I changed a password and now multiple services don't work
This is a real thing, and it has a specific cause. Here's what's going on and how to fix it.
What happened
Some bundled services share or coordinate credential management on the back end. The most common examples:
- Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ — all under Disney's shared sign-in
- Apple Music and Apple TV+ — both use your Apple ID
- YouTube Premium and YouTube Music — same Google account
- Some Amazon services — share a single Amazon account
If you change the password on one of these, the change ripples to the others — and our system loses access to all of them at once.
How to fix it
Don't try to fix this yourself by changing the password again. Each change makes the situation worse.
Email [email protected] with:
- Which service you changed the password on (the original one)
- What the new password is (if you remember it) — send through our secure support channel, not regular email
- What time you made the change
- Which other services are now affected
We'll re-sync access to all the affected services. This usually takes a few hours during business hours.
Why we ask you not to change passwords directly
Two reasons:
- Our system uses the Bundled-issued password to manage your account on your behalf (billing, retention offers, cancellations). When the password changes without us knowing, that access breaks.
- Cascading effects — as above, a single password change can cascade across multiple services. By the time you notice, you may have broken access to 3–5 services at once.
If you ever feel you need to change a password (security concern, suspicious activity), email support first. We'll either change it for you correctly or guide you through doing it safely.
What if I needed to change it for security?
Totally understandable. Some scenarios where you'd want to:
- You saw suspicious activity on the account
- You shared the password with someone you shouldn't have
- A device with the password saved got lost or stolen
In all of these, contact support — we'll handle the password reset across all affected services at once, so you're not playing whack-a-mole.
Preventing this in the future
The simplest rule: don't change credentials directly at any provider in your bundle. If something feels off about an account, contact Bundled support and we'll investigate together.
For everyday account-level personalization (profile names, viewing history, watchlists), feel free to change anything you want — those don't affect our management.
