Verification codes and 2FA

When you log into a service from a new device, the provider sometimes asks for a verification code. Here's how that works with Bundled-managed accounts.

How it usually goes

  1. You try to log into Netflix (or another service) on a new device
  2. Netflix asks for a code sent to the email on file
  3. The email on file is your Bundled-issued email alias, not your personal email
  4. We auto-forward the code to your personal email so you can complete the login

In most cases this works automatically and within seconds.

If you're not getting verification codes

Check these things in order:

  1. Look in your spam folder. Sometimes forwarded codes get filtered.
  2. Add [email protected] to your contacts so future emails always come through.
  3. Wait 60 seconds. There can be a short delay between the provider sending the code and us forwarding it.
  4. Request a new code from the provider — sometimes the first one expires while we're forwarding.
  5. Email [email protected]. We'll pull the code from our alias inbox and send it to you directly.

Don't update your email at the provider. If you change the email on file with Netflix or any other provider, our system loses the ability to forward your verification codes. Always go through Bundled support if you need an email change.

Setting up 2FA / two-factor authentication

If a service in your bundle offers 2FA setup (Authenticator app, SMS), here's what to do:

  • SMS-based 2FA: Use the phone number you signed up with at Bundled. Codes will go to your real phone.
  • Authenticator app 2FA: You can set this up yourself, but save your backup codes in your Bundled dashboard or password manager. If you ever need Bundled to help with the account, we'll need access too.
  • Email-based 2FA: Same as the verification code flow above — auto-forwarded to you.

Heads-up: Some providers may require 2FA-enrolled accounts to confirm 2FA before making changes. If we need to act on your account for billing or cancellation, please cooperate quickly so we can keep your service running.

Why a provider asked me to verify my identity

This is normal, especially in the first few weeks. Providers verify new accounts by:

  • Sending a verification code to email or phone
  • Asking for a billing zip code (the Bundled card's billing zip is in your dashboard)
  • Asking for the last 4 digits of the payment card on file (we can provide this)

If a provider asks something we haven't covered here, email support before answering — we'll guide you through it.
