How Add-Ons work

Add-Ons are services or upgrades you can layer on top of your Base Bundle. Here's how they work.

What an Add-On is

An Add-On is a subscription that isn't part of your Base Bundle. Common Add-Ons:

  • Premium tier upgrades on a service already in your bundle (e.g., upgrading Spotify Individual to Family)
  • Additional services not in your Base Bundle (e.g., adding NYT Digital, Audible, or a specific app)
  • Specialty subscriptions (productivity tools, niche apps, premium news subscriptions)

Each Add-On has:

  • Its own price
  • Its own start date
  • Its own billing cycle (most are monthly; some are annual)
  • Its own activation and cancellation

Adding an Add-On

  1. Sign into your dashboard
  2. Go to Add-Ons → Browse
  3. Pick the Add-On you want
  4. Confirm

Most Add-Ons activate within a few hours and use your existing Bundled-issued username and password.

How Add-Ons are billed

Add-Ons bill on the same date as your Base Bundle by default. So instead of separate charges for each Add-On, you'll see one combined Bundled charge that includes the Base Bundle and any Add-Ons.

If you add an Add-On mid-cycle, the first charge is pro-rated based on how many days are left in the cycle. From the next cycle on, you'll be billed for the full Add-On price along with your Base Bundle.

Note: Pro-rating applies when you add Add-Ons mid-cycle. It does not apply when you remove them mid-cycle — Add-Ons remain active through the end of the cycle once you've been charged.

Removing an Add-On

  1. Dashboard → Add-Ons
  2. Find the Add-On
  3. Click Remove

The Add-On stays active through the end of your current billing period, then cancels. You won't be charged on the next renewal.

Annual Add-Ons

Some Add-Ons are billed annually (often at a discount vs. monthly). If you cancel an annual Add-On mid-year, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual term, not the next month — and the annual payment isn't refunded.

The annual term is shown clearly before you confirm any annual Add-On.

Risk-Free Trial on a new Add-On

Many Add-Ons offer Risk-Free Trials. When you add one with a trial available, you'll see the trial offer in checkout. See How Risk-Free Trials work for details.

What Add-Ons aren't available

Bundled is a curated platform. We don't offer every possible subscription as an Add-On — we focus on services with strong member demand and good partner economics.

If a service you want isn't available, email [email protected] and we'll add it to our priority list. We add new services based on member requests.
